tests: remove obsolete workaround for WorkingCopy reading from $HOME

Browse source 
Since d56ae79d3f, `WorkingCopy` no longer reads `.gitignores`
directly from `$HOME/.gitignore`, so we don't need the workaround to
prevent it in the tests.
