Chirantan Ekbote 4fad33b679 descriptor_utils: Consume all buffers when reading or writing ... The consume function in both the read and write methods should consume all the VolatileSlices that are given to it rather than just the first one. The previous implementation was not wrong, just inefficient. This should fix that. Also add a test to make sure that this doesn't regress in the future.
